TREC Badlands Head Start partners with communities across rural western SD to provide Early Head Start and Head Start services that meet the evolving needs of children and families. These free programs promote school readiness healthy development, family wellness, and long-term success. We operate a Head Start Preschool center-based program in Belle Fourche serving 36 preschool-aged children as well as a home-based program for prenatal mothers and children up to age 5 in Butte, Harding, and Perkins Counties.
